Luca has 25+ years of experience in Financial Services. He started his career in Italy, where he worked for the FIG practice of McKinsey & Co. between 1998 and 2004, with a “one year gap” in 2001 for his MBA at INSEAD Business School.
Luca joined Deutsche Bank in 2004, where he has worked for the last 19+ years covering a variety of roles across different countries, in particular: he started in the UK as part of the Group COO team, in 2007 he was appointed Global Head of Strategy for Global Capital Markets, in 2008 moved to Hong Kong to drive business growth as Apac COO for Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Debt Capital Markets and M&A; in 2013 he moved back to London as Portfolio Manager, responsible to wind-down a large book of non-strategic assets; in 2014 he joined the Group Strategy team (AfK) focusing on Legal Entity strategy / structure, and spending several months in New York; in 2017 he moved into Wealth Management, where he covered a number of global and regional roles before taking on the role of Head of International Private Bank in Luxembourg in May 2021.
